Wire rope is made of wire rope, mainly used for lifting, traction, tension and load bearing, called wire rope. Steel wire rope is widely used in steel, chemical industry, transportation, port and other industries because of its high strength, light weight, stable operation and not easy to break the rope suddenly. The wire rope used is phosphating coated wire rope, galvanized wire rope, stainless steel wire rope and smooth wire rope.
According to the different processing methods, the wire rope can be divided into three kinds: wire pressing rope, wire inserting rope and cast wire rope. Wire rope hoisting precautions: 1. When lifting with one leg, the lifting point must be vertically higher than the center of gravity of the object being lifted. 2. When lifting with two legs, the lifting point should be located on both sides of the goods, and the hook should be above the center of gravity of the objects to be lifted. 3. When lifting with three or four legs, the lifting point must be symmetrically positioned on the plane around the goods, and the hook should be located directly above the center of gravity of the object being lifted. Usage of steel wire rope: When steel wire rope is used in wet or open environment, galvanized steel wire rope can be used as raw material to enhance rust prevention performance. In addition to the wear of the outer steel wire, the steel wire rope is mainly bent repeatedly when bypassing the store and the hook, resulting in fatigue fracture of the metal. Therefore, the ratio of the diameter of the wire rope to the hook or storage is an important factor in determining the service life of the wire rope. When the surface wear corrosion degree of the wire rope or the number of broken wires per twist length exceeds the specified value, it should be scrapped. Steel wire rope is mainly used for lifting, hauling and other high-strength steel wire rope transportation. Do not stand under or pass over objects in use. Summary of the rules for the safe use of wire rope slings: Do not use at temperatures above -60 and 100, do not come into contact with corrosive gases, liquids or steam. For the storage period of more than 20 years of wire rope slings, must be sampled according to the requirements of the tensile test, the test can be used. |
